Rock Sliders offer that extra protection when tackling rugged terrain. If you are planning on outback adventures that involve rocky tracks or deep muddy tracks, then Rock Sliders are a necessity.

What are Rock Sliders?

Bolted onto the side of your vehicle, Rock Sliders are designed to work as a barrier against damaging the sills and outer body panels of your vehicle from rocks when travelling off-road. They are constructed with high grade steel tubing and are fitted directly to the chassis, protecting the sides from impact when in heavily rutted tracks.

How They Work?

They act as armour against rocks and debris that would otherwise hit the vehicle. With a custom build that is unique to your vehicle, Rock Sliders will be installed directly to the chassis, making sure it is correctly mounted to ensure maximum protection.

Why do I Need a Rock Slider?

If you are tackling off-road trails, then rock sliders are for you. As they do not just protect the body from rocks, they have a range of use cases.

Protection against foreign objects – Rocks and boulders can get in the way, but smaller logs and stones can damage the chassis too - Rock Sliders protect against these.

Added Step – ideal for taller vehicles, they allow enough room for you to move along when exiting and avoid mud or deep puddles if parked in a wet area.

Act as a Pivot point – especially on tighter angles and narrow turns. Using your slider in these situations looks impressive, does the job well and protects your vehicle all at the same time.

Materials Used in Rock Sliders

Two grades of steel, DOM and HREW are commonly used in the construction of a Rock Slider. HREW is “Hot Rolled Electric Resistance Weld” and is a typical tubing used throughout the offroad accessory market. DOM is “Drawn Over Mandrel” and has higher strength over HREW.
